Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 14-bed critical care unit, requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed critical care unit with 24-hour intensivist coverage
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical issues
• 12-hour night shift schedule with rotating weekends and holidays
• 36 hours per week over an 8-week assignment

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Demonstrated competency in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care
• Evidence of relevant continuing education required
• CCRN certification preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to medical and surgical ICU patients
• Pass/fail testing required for Tele/ECG and Medications prior to acceptance
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• No holiday RTO permitted and no more than 3 days RTO allowed, all requests must be presented at time of consideration
• Returning employees must observe a 6-month break between assignments at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius, and local candidates are not accepted
