Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, creating a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN coordinates and provides direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient education, and individualized treatment planning. Clinical decision-making incorporates the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- BLS, ACLS
- ADN or ASN
- CVICU experience and experience with recovering open heart positions
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications or ability to be trained

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
