Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring an active MA license and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Float required to PACU, step-down, and ED for care of holding patients
• Start dates limited to 01/05 or 01/19

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (can apply at time of offer for temp and perm)
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• 2-3 years of related ICU work experience required
• Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management required
• Post-STEMI care experience required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Must pass ECG/telemetry and medications test at day one orientation

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including post-STEMI care
• No more than one holiday off request will be accepted, and no more than 3 days of RTO
• Required vaccines include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Returning employees must have a 6-month break between any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility assignments before returning
• Candidates do not need a separation period from BILH to apply to this open order
