Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU position requiring 2 years of recent specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU/Neuro ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• 2 years of recent ICU/Neuro ICU/SICU specialty experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide proof of flu vaccination or a medical exemption signed by a licensed professional (personal or religious declinations not accepted)

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to surgical and neuroscience ICU patients
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
