Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU/SICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and an active NY RN license.

Details

• Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit setting
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 19:00-07:30
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
• 2 years of recent experience in the ICU specialty required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference (not a charge nurse) dated within the past year
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to neurological and surgical ICU patients
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
• Only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted for flu vaccination; personal or religious declinations are not accepted
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration
