Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU, specializing in stem cell transplant and Car-T patient care. The role involves working in a unit with 15 rooms and an average daily census of 7. Ideal candidates should possess strong clinical skills related to critical care. Stem cell experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Care for ventilated patients and assist with chest tube procedures
Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases
Coordinate care utilizing SBAR communication method
Qualifications
Required:
2 years of ICU experience
ACLS & BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode) certifications
Skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, and phlebotomy
Preferred:
4 years of ICU experience
OCN certification
Experience with IV insulin protocols and chemotherapy administration
