Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with CT surgery and mechanical circulatory support device experience for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Floating between ICU and IMCU expected
• Uses Epic EMR
• Winter holiday coverage required for staff working through that period (2 holidays)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience required
• CT surgery experience required
• Experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices required
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months to be considered
• Must complete required vaccinations, including COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including complex cardiac surgery cases requiring mechanical circulatory support
• Weekly orientation provided
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not considered
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• Pass/fail testing in Tele/ECG and medication administration may be required depending on campus
