Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring MD or compact RN licensure and prior trauma/cardiovascular ICU experience.

Details

• ICU setting caring for trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within scope to IMC as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required, pending license accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience preferred, especially with strong trauma/cardiovascular background
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a high-acuity trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient population
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• One RTO request permitted during the assignment
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
