Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Possible floating to IMCU or CPU
• Uses Cerner/Soarian EMR
• Utilizes ventilators, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA lines/Swan-Ganz, and balloon pumps

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required, current and in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Skilled in vent management, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, IV starts, and balloon pump management
• Travel experience preferred
• Documents required for consideration: skills checklist, references, updated NURSYS, and copy of driver's license

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring
• Royal blue scrubs required and not provided by facility
• Holiday coverage required with minimal to no RTO, especially around holidays
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
• Travel pairs not accepted
