Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active MN license and 2+ years of critical care experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and vents.

Details

• ICU setting within a hospital environment
• 4x12 shifts, Day (0700-1930) or Night (1900-0730)
• Every other weekend required
• Float coverage to CVTU, Tele, NPCU, MPCU, and SPCU units as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license required (must be in hand or proof of application submitted)
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators required

Additional Information

• Travelers must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing the contract
• Livescan fingerprinting must be completed in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, per Minnesota State requirement
• Travelers are responsible for arranging and covering travel expenses related to fingerprinting
• Vaccine exemption requests require appropriate documentation to be submitted with the candidate's profile
• Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no time off allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved prior to starting the assignment
