Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU Days position requiring 2 years of ICU experience in a Trauma Level One facility with Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (B2) setting
• Cares for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patient care
• Trauma Level One experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Medical exemption (signed by licensed professional) required for flu vaccine exemption if applicable

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via email
• No more than 3 call outs allowed within a 13-week period; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call out
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• RTO must be requested at the time of consideration
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in specific counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington) are not eligible
• 48-hour work weeks may be available for interested candidates
