Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 12
- Patient Ratios: Standard ICU 1RN:2 Patients unless higher or lower acuity
- Type of equipment: Standard critical care equipment plus Impella, Hemosphere advance monitoring platform.
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: Participative scheduling - minimum 3 weekend shifts per month, block scheduling not guaranteed.
- Floating policy: Must float to other units in the facility as required. PCU/Medical surgical
- Patient Experience requirements: Nurses explain care and medications, nurses treat with courtesy and respect, call light answered timely.
Hospital Specifics-
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS. CCRN a plus
- Must have: Cardiac critical care experience
Procedures performed on unit: Intubations, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring
