Job Opportunity – Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) – Springfield, MA, 01199

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week. 48-hour contracts available.

Highlights:

• ICU float position with rotation through Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC units
• 32-bed Medical Intensive Care and Neuro Critical Care unit with strong staffing support
• Patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 based on acuity requirements
• Diverse case mix including sepsis, ESRD/AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure
• 91-day assignment with competitive compensation including overtime, charge, and holiday differentials
• Must reside outside of 90-mile radius from the facility

Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 ICU, or 2 years preferred in MICU setting
• Strong ICU background with solid clinical experience beyond new graduate status
• Agency must hold valid Massachusetts staffing license
