Description

American Traveler is hiring a Float Pool ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of ICU experience and a Maine or compact RN license.

Details

• Float position within the Nursing Float Pool, covering ICU as needed
• Float policy covers facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
• Night shift schedule, 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and other AHA certifications required prior to start (non-AHA equivalents accepted for consideration)
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this
• AirPods, laptops, and cell phone use are prohibited on the unit
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
