Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit position requiring cardiac and critical care experience with night shift and rotating weekend availability.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (IMC) of a hospital setting
• Care for cardiac patients including open heart, TAVR, Watchman, and post cardiac procedure cases
• One 8-patient pod dedicated to IMC patients requiring new BiPAP, DKA, CIWA management, and titrating drips
• Night shift 7p-730a
• Work every third weekend
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (Illinois)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RQI certifications not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide intermediate/progressive level cardiac and critical care nursing to a mix of post-procedural and acute care patients
• Manage patients on titrating drips and new BiPAP therapy within the IMC pod
