Job Description
Looking for a dedicated PCU RN with expertise in cardiac telemetry to provide exceptional patient care in a 15-bed intermediate care unit. The unit focuses on priority transfers from the ICU requiring close cardiac monitoring and intermediate-level care, specifically post-surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data.
- Administer critical medications and manage respiratory ventilation.
- Provide care for post-TAVR, post-CEA, and post-femoral popliteal bypass patients.
- Manage invasive line monitoring, including arterial and central venous pressures.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to emergent situations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 2 years of PCU RN experience required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
- WV or Compact RN License required (pending licenses may be accepted).
- Experience with telemetry, invasive line management, and post-cardiac surgery care.
