Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: ACLS & BLS required; PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required; 2 years of experience required; Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment; Successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms; Night 3x12-Hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15); Every other weekend coverage required; Unit will direct weekend coverage based upon operational needs; Float required to Tele and/or MS as needed (These units have a 1:5/1:6 ratio); IMC Ratio: 1:4.
Responsibilities:
Provide care to IMC patients during night shifts, ensuring safety and comfort.
Accurately interpret EKG rhythms to identify lethal and non-lethal patterns.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Float to Tele and/or Med-Surg units as needed to support staffing needs.
Adhere to unit protocols and maintain compliance with ACLS and BLS standards.
