Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring telemetry, vent, and transplant experience across two specialized units in a hospital setting.

Details

• Works across two IMC units: an Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and a Thoracic unit
• Patient population includes oncology, cardiac, and progressive care (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown) patients
• Ventilator and transplant patient care required
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Shift days span Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior telemetry experience required, including oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown settings
• Ventilator experience required
• Transplant patient care experience required

Additional Information

• Must pass a telemetry competency test prior to starting the assignment
• 13-week contract
