• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 07:00–19:30
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,950–$2,060
• Unit Size: 16 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Float Expectations: Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed
• Charting System: Medhost

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• CVICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Active RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric critical care patients
• Ability to manage complex diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, stroke, trauma, CRRT, and respiratory failure
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to critically ill cardiac and ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patients in a high-acuity, 1:2 ratio critical care environment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the plan of care
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly with the care team
• Support patients receiving advanced therapies such as CRRT and post-operative cardiac care
• Float to the Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding when needed
• Document accurately and maintain unit standards, including attendance expectations
