Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit Intermediate Care position requiring a CO or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Details

• Cardiovascular Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 1900-0730
• 3 shifts per week at 12 hours per shift totaling 36 hours weekly
• Uses Epic for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while monitoring treatment plans and health status
• Provide health teaching and counseling, and refer patients for further evaluation as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with drug screen completion expected within 24 hours of assignment commitment
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
