Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Ortho unit requiring CO or compact RN license, 1+ years of specialty experience, and night shift availability.

Details

• Med/Ortho unit setting (not Step-Down)
• 3x 12-hour night shifts per week, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Ortho specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment for patients
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Promotes facility mission, vision, and values and adheres to service behavior standards
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
