Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
• Uses Epic for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO state or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required, must not expire prior to start
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards
• Returning staff must be separated from any facility within the health system for at least one year before eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required at least 2 weeks prior to start date
