Olaro-Allied is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

IMC / Progressive Care RN | Madison, WI

  • Facility: University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI
  • Units: IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care and IMC Thoracic
  • Shift: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., 12-hour days
  • Schedule: Every other weekend; some holidays
  • Patient population: Adults; acute medical, thoracic, and post-lung transplant
  • Ratios: General care 1:4; IMC 1:2
  • Experience: 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years; travel experience
  • Required specialties: PCU/stepdown, cardiac telemetry, telemetry oncology, ventilator care, and transplant care
  • Facility experience: Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar-size hospital
  • License: Active Wisconsin RN or compact RN
  • Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS
  • Charting: Epic
  • Floating: Required as needed
  • Testing: Telemetry exam required before start
  • Local rule: 50-mile radius; locals not accepted
  • Flu vaccine: Required; medical or religious exemptions considered
