Job Summary: The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse position is located in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the IMCU setting, including monitoring patients with complex conditions requiring close observation and advanced interventions. Job Details:
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00am to 7:30pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia registered nurse license or multi-state compact license; active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification; minimum of 1 year of experience with direct patient care; ability to read, write, and speak English; strong computer skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to respond effectively in emergency situations; possess critical thinking and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressor management, ventilator knowledge, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), and ICU experience.
Additional Information: The RN will be part of a float pool, providing flexible coverage across related units as needed.
