Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing post-operative care for vascular, kidney, and liver transplant patients, performing hemodynamic and neurovascular assessments, monitoring surgical sites and graft function, and administering essential medications and therapies. Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid MD or Compact RN license, ACLS, BLS certifications, 2 years of IMC (Intermediate Care Unit) experience, familiarity with Epic charting system, and experience in acute hospital settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with transplant care, neurovascular assessments, and immunosuppressive medication management.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope.
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, with a daily census of approximately 24. The unit offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Candidate must be comfortable with transplant-related procedures and patient care protocols. Certification in CPI, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and adherence to compliance documentation deadlines are required.
