Job Summary: The healthcare organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality patient care within the intermediate care setting, with responsibilities including managing insulin and cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization care. The position requires the ability to float between units and adapt to the evolving needs of the unit and patient care.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
Location: Healthcare facility setting
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 10/19/2026
End Date: 04/18/2027
Shift Hours: 12
Minimum Qualifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS required; NIHSS required prior to start. Minimum of 1 year telemedicine experience required. Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable. NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required in packet at time of submission.
Additional Qualifications: A valid NY license or proof of application with applied date is required.
Responsibilities: Providing patient care including insulin and cardiac drips, starting IVs, and managing post-cardiac cath care. Will be assigned to a float team and work a schedule that meets the needs of the unit and patient care.
Submission Requirements: All work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be complete, and employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
Additional Information: This facility requires reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during months of November through April. No block schedules, bi-weekly orientations on Mondays, with next available orientation on 11/02. Please note that IVS to offer.
