What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted technical expertat customer sites, delivering high-level multi-craft electrical and mechanical maintenance support. This position is responsible for building a strong reputation for Pro Services through high performance and effective execution of industrial maintenance related functions at our customer sites. The Travek Technician's responsibilities include monitoring and servicing systems, diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment, running tests and completing reports, updating and improving existing systems, and repairing or replacing faulty equipment. They will act as the technical representative for Pro Services at the customer site and will be required to interact with both customer maintenance staff and maintenance leadership. This position requires a strong focus on quality and safety. The successful candidate will be required to follow all safety and company policies and actively participate in creating and maintaining a safe work environment while improving operations. The position requires the ability to travel regularly (>75% of time), work flexible shifts, and adapt to a changing work schedule. This individual should have a passion for our business, changing technology and a desire to improve the maintenance experience of our customer base. This position will report to either a Pro Services Talent Manager or Program Manager and could have an additional reporting relationship with customer site maintenance leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (24V–480V, 3-phase, motors, drives, PLCs)
• Perform bothpreventive maintenanceandbreak/fix troubleshooting
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic
• Troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley & Siemens preferred)
• Identify and resolve issues—even without schematics
• Support and improve conveyor systems, motors, and automation equipment
• Install, test, and upgrade electrical and mechanical components
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with site leadership
• Uphold and promote a **strong safety culture **at all times

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 8+ years of hands-on electrical or multi-craft maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial environments
• Experience with PLCs, drives, motors, and control systems
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently at customer sites
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing professionalism
• Travel and work for extended periods of time away from home residence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master Electrician, Journeyman, or equivalent experience
• Background in instrumentation & controls
• Experience with automation systems and advanced troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel / Google Suite

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying conditions
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and maneuver throughout job sites
• Ability to safely work on industrial surfaces and wear required PPE
