Job Summary:
Infusion Specialist position located in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing infusion therapy for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations, with a focus on vascular access procedures including PICC, Midline, and Ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access for difficult or long-term cases. The position requires adaptability to float across various units within the healthcare facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 1 year of experience providing infusion and vascular access services; valid license with a compact license preferred; ability to perform PICC, Midline, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IV procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chronic or complex vascular access, including difficult access scenarios; prior work in an intensive care unit or long-term acute care setting; proficiency in electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.
- Float: Float to different units within the facility may be required.
- Additional Information: Needs to have competency in PICC, Midline, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access. Familiarity with various patient populations such as neonatal, obese, and older adults. The candidate must be flexible to work on holidays and maximize adherence to the contracted schedule.
