Job Summary: Infusion Nurse in an outpatient infusion setting. This role involves providing outpatient infusion services with adult and geriatric patients, focusing on conditions such as oncology, neuro, anemia, and gastrointestinal diagnoses. The position requires nursing expertise in chemotherapy administration and working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and chemotherapy certifications; minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion; certification, education, and experience relevant to outpatient infusion nursing
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, Omnicell medication system, Ascom communication devices, glucometer use; experience operating Alaris and elastomeric infusion pumps
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Candidates must have blood product administration experience and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Candidates considered will be within a 75-mile radius, with local candidates also considered where the local rate applies.
