 Mandatory Qualifications for this Job

• Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BSN required
• Infusion RN experience required
• IV Therapy and Port Access experience required
• Current Vermont RN or Multi-State Compact RN License
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• One year of acute care experience preferred
• CRNI certification preferred
• Strong IV therapy, patient assessment, and clinical skills

 Roles and Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications, fluids, and infusion therapies safely
• Access and manage implanted ports and vascular access devices
• Monitor patients and respond to infusion reactions
• Assess patients before, during, and after treatments
• Educate patients and families on infusion care
• Review medication and treatment orders for accuracy
• Coordinate appointments and infusion services
• Assist with prior authorizations and payer communication
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate EMR and medication documentation
• Follow INS standards, infection control, and safety protocols
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
