Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient position available in Madisonville, Texas. This role involves providing skilled therapy services within an inpatient acute care setting, working with a diverse patient population requiring assessments, treatment planning, and discharge coordination. The therapist will be part of an interdisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Texas and national license, BLS certification; a minimum of 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or Acute settings; must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and valid Texas and national occupational therapy license
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with wound care, orthopedic, neuro, and debility patient populations; outpatient experience a plus
- Float: Float between inpatient and outpatient care within the same facility may be required
- Additional Information:
- Profiles are sent directly to the unit for consideration.
- A copy of the drivers license is needed at the time of submission to validate the legal name; pulse must reflect the name on a government-issued ID.
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the organization, including affiliated health systems, within the past year.
- Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination.
- New graduates may be considered if they have at least six months of related experience.
- Dispatch in MEDITECH charting system.
- No tech in Madisonville.
- The role focuses on inpatient acute care within a 25-bed critical access hospital, serving patients with conditions such as wounds, orthopedic, neuro, and general debility.
