Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients within an acute care hospital setting. The position starts as soon as possible and requires the therapist to be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week, with a typical shift duration of 8 hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license, 1 year of experience, Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program, and experience with acute care settings.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Open to First-timers: Yes.
- Orientation: 16 hours.
- Float Requirements: Travelers may be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Additional Information:
- The facility operates a Level II trauma center and handles a daily census of approximately 185 patients.
- Compliance with submission of two references covering one year within the last three years is required.
- The start date is 08/24/2026, with lodging options to be arranged locally.
- The traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Travel compliance including SSN, DOB, and RTO details must be provided at the time of submission.
- The assignment includes completing modules averaging 16 hours, with over 20 hours requiring project manager approval.
