Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Oregon. This position involves evaluating, selecting, performing, and/or directing assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients, based on physician referral. The role requires collaboration with family members and healthcare team members to assess patient abilities and establish goals.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Bachelor of Science or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association; eligible for license or current license from the State of Oregon; current valid Oregon drivers license; current CPR certification.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must have a current knowledge of occupational therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical and mental health concepts. Understands the principles of team approach and recognizes capabilities and limitations of other team members. Must possess a positive attitude and utilize good communication skills. Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
