Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

Days, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The start time can be as early as 7 AM and the end time can be as late as 5:30 PM. There is a possibility of working 1-2 weekend days per month prearranged.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat hospitalized patients to help them regain the physical and cognitive skills needed for daily living and a safe discharge.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) and Acute Care Occupational Therapy.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA).
  • Valid state licensure in Occupational Therapy (Michigan).

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
