Occupational Therapist Inpatient in New Mexico. This position involves providing occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and participating in discharge planning within an inpatient setting. The role requires delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, adhering to facility protocols and safety standards.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month; holidays required.
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Position requires at least 1 year of experience in inpatient occupational therapy.
- Certifications / Education / Licenses: BLS certification and NM state licensure required.
- Scope of role: Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments, develop and modify care plans, attend care team meetings, participate in discharge planning, and perform administrative duties.
- EMR: MedHost.
- Patient ratio: 1:1.
- No floating or call required.
- Holidays required.
- Patient care involves a 99-bed facility with additional inpatient rehab and swing beds.
- This is a contractor replacement position scheduled to start on 08/17/2026.
