Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) in Oakland, California. This role involves providing specialized occupational therapy services within a 58-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation program. The position requires experienced neuro rehabilitation skills for a complex patient population, with scheduled hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and two full weekends per month.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with 2 full weekends per month.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS; Education: CA State License; Experience: at least 2 years of neuro rehabilitation experience; Location: California; Valid CA State License issued by Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex neuro patients including CVA, brain injury, SCI, cancer rehab, complex ortho, among others.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have acute rehab experience as per manager. Large team environment with a complex patient population requiring advanced assessments and interventions including electrical stimulation, adaptive equipment assessment, and spinal cord injury management. Certification and license documentation must be current and uploaded as specified.
