Job Summary Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT IP) this position is based in a healthcare setting providing direct patient care for diverse populations, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role involves working independently and collaborating with team members to achieve patient-centered goals within the healthcare provider. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, with an in-person or MS Teams interview conducted prior to placement.
Job Details
Schedule: Rotating shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with two weekend days per month. For resources with acute care experience, the schedule may be adjusted to include one day from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. based on census. The work hours total 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
Physical Therapist Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's/Doctorate degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy (CAPTE) accredited program.
Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist License from the State of Michigan.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Ability to problem-solve, effective verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge about the care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Additional Information:
The candidate must have acute care or in-patient rehab experience.
Skills required include written communication, verbal communication, and problem-solving.
Experience as a physical therapist in acute care or in-patient rehab settings.
