Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a night shift position in Lima, OH, requiring 2+ years of inpatient rehab experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient Rehab unit with 26 beds
• Patient ratio of 4-5:1
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• EMR system used is MediTech
• Navy blue scrub dress code
• Floating required to all units within scope of practice and skill set

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• 2+ years of Inpatient Rehab RN experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Must be able to complete GG scoring for each patient
• Strong customer service, communication, and collaboration skills required
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to Inpatient Rehab required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process
• Assists in directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries
• Coordinates patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Educates patients and families to prepare for discharge
• Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes
• Local candidates within a 45-mile radius are accepted at a reduced travel rate
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
