Job Summary:
This inpatient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is located in Douglasville, Georgia. The role involves providing specialized speech therapy services within a hospital setting, focusing on patients requiring acute care. The candidate will be responsible for clinical assessments, therapy planning, and implementation, particularly handling Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) examinations, with an emphasis on effective communication and teamwork.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensed or certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS, and prior hospital/acute care experience. Must have proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) exams.
• Additional Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Speech Pathologist is required upon hire. FEES certification is preferred. Effective communication skills, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills are essential.
