Job Summary:
Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing inpatient therapy services to patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, neuro impairments, swallowing difficulties, and cognitive impairments. The candidate will be responsible for performing bedside swallow studies and managing various neurological and trauma-related cases, with a focus on delivering quality patient care within the specified inpatient setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA, BLS Certification, at least 2 years of experience, licensed to submit in the state, and experience with bedside swallow studies.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience, trauma experience.
• Additional Information: The unit treats patients across various inpatient areas including stroke, traumatic brain injury, neuro, trauma, and cognitive impairments. Candidates will undergo 1.5 days of unit-specific orientation and Cerner training if needed. The healthcare provider may require coverage for other assigned areas and potential float responsibilities.
• Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA.
• Start Date: 10/06/2026
• End Date: 01/05/2027
• Location Requirements: One year of experience or more is required; travel and trauma experience are preferred.
