Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Med/Surg Tele for an ER boarding role caring for high-acuity, mixed-population patients in a large emergency department.

Details

• Work on the Flex Team caring for ER boarding patients within a large 118-bed Emergency Department
• Highly diverse patient population ranging from behavioral health and boarding patients to critically ill/ICU-level cases
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• 3x12 or 4x12 AM shift schedule (07:00-19:30), 36 hrs/week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical care skills required
• Comfort managing complex, unstable, and high-acuity patients required
• Adaptability and composure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment required

Additional Information

• Provide med/surg level nursing care to patients boarding in the Emergency Department
• Care for a mixed-acuity population including behavioral health, boarding, emergency/trauma, and ICU-level patients
