Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (ICU stepdown) position requiring 2+ years of surgical/trauma experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a Medical/Surgical/Trauma/Transplant Intermediate Care Unit (ICU stepdown)
• 32-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
• Care for complex surgical and medical patients, including those on ventilators, high flow, and BiPAP
• Cases include trauma, general surgery, thoracic surgery, kidney transplants, and Whipple procedures
• AM shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (07:00-19:30), 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Deliver care to patients with highly complex surgical and medical needs within an ICU stepdown setting
