Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This position requires a nurse with strong clinical skills and experience in managing patients with various complex conditions, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory issues.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients in IMCU/PCU settings.
- Administer medications and provide treatment per protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and care in the electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically EPIC.
- Assist with the management of specialty equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, and bipaps.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
- Active RN license in New York and all relevant RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience with electronic medical records, particularly EPIC.
- Valid driver's license with an address that matches demographic information.
