Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Intermediate Care Unit position requiring an active NV RN license and 2+ years of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses EPIC EMR charting system
• Uses Kronos for time keeping

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the IMCU specialty
• AHA certifications required
• CPI certification required for Behavioral/Psych patients
• EPIC EMR experience preferred, with training available during orientation or option to test out

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
• Holiday coverage required for a minimum of 2 major holidays
• Blocked scheduling is not allowed
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application and will not be added to the end of the contract
• A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after completing a prior contract of one year or more
• RNs who have never held a temporary or permanent license may still be considered, but must apply for licensure promptly upon offer
