Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Dates: (13 weeks)
Schedule: 4 × 10‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:30
Call: Nights 1–2/week, Weekends 2–3/month
Pay: $70 - $72 per hour ($2,800 - $2,880 per week)
Dress Code: Hospital‑issued scrubs and jacket/gown
Provide specialized radiologic support in the Interventional Radiology (IR) suite of a high-volume Level I Trauma center. Assist physicians with IR procedures, including neuro/stroke interventions, maintain procedural safety, and support patient care.
Prepare and assist with interventional radiology procedures
Operate imaging equipment during angiography, fluoroscopy, and diagnostic/interventional studies
Monitor and position patients appropriately
Ensure radiation safety and sterile technique compliance
Assist physicians during neuro/stroke and other complex IR procedures
Provide patient education and support pre/post procedure
Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams
Document procedures and maintain accurate records
Participate in call rotation as scheduled
Minimum 2 years Interventional Radiology experience (Level I Trauma experience preferred)
Experience with neuro/stroke procedures required
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) required, ACLS preferred
Travel experience preferred
Ability to float to other campuses as needed
Must be a Traveler
Arizona does not require a separate state Rad Tech license if ARRT registered
Facility credentialing required
