Requirements:

• 1+ year IR experience
• Neuro IR experience required
• ARRT(R)
• BLS
• Active SC Radiography license
• Epic preferred
• Level I Trauma experience preferred

Required Neuro IR skills:

• Stroke thrombectomy
• Aneurysm coiling/stenting
• AVM embolization
• Carotid stenting
• Peripheral/body angiography
• Port, PICC, and dialysis catheter placement

Call:

• Required/possible
• After 5 PM daily
• Weekend call rotation
• Primary and backup call
• Weekend rotation shared with approximately 6–8 staff

Unit:

• Peripheral + Neuro Interventional Radiology
• Level I Trauma Center
• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• 3 IR rooms
• 15–20 cases/day
• Patient population: pediatrics through geriatrics
• Siemens IR rooms

Other:

• Float may be required to other qualified Prisma units/campuses
• 2 RTO requests allowed; submit upfront
• Travelers must be 50+ miles from Prisma Richland to qualify
• 50–99.9 miles = reduced bill rate; 100+ miles = full bill rate
• Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
• Flu vaccine required, no exemptions
• COVID vaccine not required
