Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring ARRT (R) certification and neuro IR experience.

Details

• Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Varied 8-hour shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
• On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
• 13 to 26 week contract options
• Utilizes PACS equipment

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
• BLS certification required
• SC Radiography State License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience in NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred

Additional Information

• Neuro experience needed for this role
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs, limited to qualified and competency-documented areas
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
