Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center's peripheral and neuro IR department, requiring ARRT (R) certification and neuro IR experience.

Details

• Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6-8 staff members
• On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
• 13 to 26 week contract options
• EPIC EMR preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
• BLS certification required
• SC Radiography State License required if applicable
• Neuro IR experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with PACS equipment operation and maintenance
• Additional experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER patient populations preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs every Monday along with an annual compliance requirement
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs, only to units where competency has been demonstrated
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
