Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology assignment

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology Lab supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and RNs during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• 13-week assignment
• 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• Charting system experience required (any EMR system accepted)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, including Cath Lab case experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy Permit required
• CA state license required if applicable
• Certifications must be issued by AHA or ARC
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide technical support and patient care during interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab procedures under physician supervision
• Perform patient assessment, monitoring, and communication to ensure safe, effective treatment
• May mentor and train students as part of the role
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, codes, and safety protocols
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday approved for time off
• Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
