Job Title: Interventional Radiology Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel. License: Must have permanent Ohio license in hand at time of submission. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts on or after 1/1/23. Certifications: Required certifications need to be active with nothing pending. Must-Have: One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months prior to start. Must be updated annually. Description: This position requires three ten-hour shifts per week plus call. Nurses must have previous experience in trauma level I or II settings. Charting experience in a community hospital is preferred. Candidates must have experience with patient ratio management. Locals are accepted for the same position. Assessment tests will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Candidates will receive two attempts to pass the assessments, otherwise cancellation will occur. BG checks of any kind are reviewed; open cases will not be accepted. The facility has a strict policy regarding calls. Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to starting. Extensions may be granted for a period of 18 months, after which a six-month break is required. Modules are billable up to a maximum of 4 hours, and all additional time required for pre-start modules is non-billable.
